Marketing Project Manager

Bobsled Marketing helps brands to launch and optimize their product line on Amazon.com
Our client base and team has grown very quickly in the past 2.5 years and we're looking for a 4th Project Manager who can plan and implement comprehensive sales growth strategies for new and existing clients.
You'll be the primary contact for clients, and lead a small team of specialists to execute customized launch plans for your client book. You'll be managing around 10 clients at a time so excellent organization and time management skills are a must.
What we do
Our clients are established brands and manufacturers.
We have established processes for launching new brands on Amazon, as well as optimizing operations and marketing processes for existing Sellers and Vendors. You'll learn all these processes and how they can be customized for specific client situations. Our team comprises 3 other experienced Project Managers, Advertising Specialists, and Ecommerce Assistants who help us get everything done! You'll be managing the output of 1-2 direct reports, as well as directing work from shared team members.
Skills and experience
Applicants with relevant project management and ecommerce marketing experience are highly regarded. The most important things that matter in this position are:
1) Curiosity. You want to know why something worked and why another thing didn't. You must be really hungry to learn new skills and how things work.
2) Organization. You must be a total pro at managing your own time, and in delegating & monitoring work to others. You understand the difference between being "responsible" versus "accountable" for work getting done.
3) Empathy. Everything we do touches someone: a customer who buys the widget, your client who needs to know that their investment in this new project will pay off, and your team who also want to feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in their jobs.
4) Accountability. Our clients rely on us to be their trusted advisor and help meet their goals. The team relies on each other to get their own work done. "Doing what we say we'll do" is paramount.
About the team & the position
Our team is 90% remote. We all stay in touch during the work day on Slack (a chat app) and manage projects with Asana. Some are based in the US, and some in Europe & Asia. We have a great bunch!
The first 3 months will be on a contracted hourly basis at a rate of $30/hr-$35/hr depending on experience. Thereafter, there is the opportunity to go to a permanent W-2 position with annual salary in line with the contacted rate plus vacation and unlimited sick days.
The Project Manager should be available to work online during weekdays (EST) for internal and client-facing calls, training and communication. Besides that, the remaining work week hours are flexible.
