Powered by a global team of retail marketplace experts, Bobsled Marketing specializes in implementing performance growth on the Amazon marketplace for established consumer product brands. We accomplish this through product listing optimization, PPC, brand protection, and operational account management on the Amazon marketplace.

We are seeking an ambitious individual to join our NYC headquarters to interact with some of the fastest growing brands in the global marketplace. As a key revenue driver, you will have the ultimate task of executing an aggressive growth strategy.  

This role involves researching companies and contacts, inbound and outbound campaigns and qualifying each opportunity, as well as supporting the Sales Manager in working with high-value prospects.

It’s also a dynamic role that fits a high energy, collaborative and smart self-starter. This role is ideal for a candidate looking to learn foundational sales and marketing skills and quickly graduate into a more senior sales role with a generous performance-based commission structure.

What you’ll do

Coordinate inbound Sales efforts:

  • Handle incoming calls and chat messages (approx 3 calls per day), emails, responding to prospective clients within 1 business day or less.

  • Conduct qualification calls and schedule appointments with the Sales Manager for vetted prospective clients.

  • Prepare marketing presentations for prospective clients.

  • Manage client and prospective client records & activities (notes, follow-ups, emails, research, call logs) in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.

  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications

  • Participate in conference calls, and face to face sales meetings with clients as requested.

Become an ecommerce marketplace expert:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of Amazon’s marketplace, the international ecommerce landscape, and how Bobsled Marketing’s solutions and new service options help to grow our clients’ product sales

  • Contribute to development of marketing materials and sales collateral

  • Coordinate with affiliates and partners to grow strategic relationships

  • Review existing client portfolio to identify new opportunities to grow relationships

Experience & Skills Required

  • 2 years professional experience (including internships if relevant) in sales, marketing, or ecommerce
  • Experience in Ecommerce or B2B category (working with small businesses) ideal

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills - able to think fast and speak eloquently

  • Tenacious with an extraordinary drive to succeed

  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent programs)

  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills

  • High level of attention to detail
